SEE ALSO 52673, 52686 Senate No. 36 The Committee on Claims tried to ascertain how much money and land was needed to pay off the Revolutionary War veterans. On February 10, 1835, the Land Agent reported he thought somewhat under three hundred people could still claim land or money, so plan for 30,000 acres or $7500 in cash. He had no data on town bounties. In a report on February 25, 1835, the Committee again listed the dates and bounty amounts for Revolutionary war soldiers.
