House. Comm. on Gambling Prevention. Act to prevent gaming, 1834
House No. 67[i.e., 68] On March 12, 1834, a Special Committee of three men reported a bill: An Act to prevent gaming, 1834. Anyone could complain
to a Justice of the Peace or a Police Court about a gaming house. The Court could issue a warrant so the Sheriff could arrest any people found there
and impound any gaming money and equipment. (Digitized from a microfilm copy of title originally held by the Massachusetts State Library).
Title:   The Committee who were directed to inquired if any, and what measures should be adopted to prevent gaming, have given their attention to that subject, and report a bill.
