SEE ALSO 52521 Senate No. 62 A Committee charged to consider the endless case of Mr. Vans said the property of John Codman had long since been
vested in his heirs and the Legislature could offer no remedy. On march 5, 1834, the Committee was asked for its reasons. it pointed out case law that
argued against changing the statute of limitations for one person and referred to legislative reports that ruled against Vans, as well. (Digitized
