Senate. Comm. on the Judiciary. Act making further provision to attachment of real estate, 1834
Senate No. 2 The Committee on the Judiciary presented a bill: An Act making further provision in relation to the attachment of real estate, 1834.
Whenever real estate was attached, a copy of the writ justifying the action had to be filed with the clerk of the local jurisdiction or County; the
attachment was not valid until that was done. The clerk had to retain the writ and could charge 10c for filing. (Digitized from a microfilm copy of
title originally held by the Massachusetts State Library).
