SEE ALSO 51860 House No. 50 On March 2, 1833, the Committee on Education sent in a bill: An Act in addition to an act to provide for the
instruction of youth, 1833. The school committee mentioned in article 5 of the 1827 Act was to manage the school within a jurisdiction with 500 families for

The Committee on Education, to whom were referred the orders of this House of Jan. 30th and Feb. 11th, relating to the powers and duties of school committees, have considered the same, and ask leave to report a bill.
