House No. 36 On February 11, 1833, the Committee on Education reported on the Governor's remarks viz. the survey and map of the Commonwealth. The
Committee had seen the not quite completed work. To be sure there was no delay in distribution, the Committee presented: Resolve for the publication
and distribution of the report on the geological survey of the Commonwealth, 1833. The Governor was authorized to pay for printing 1200 copies with
drawings. There was a detailed list of who could have how many copies. (Digitized from a microfilm copy of title originally held by the Massachusetts
