House. Act to incorporate the Nantucket Steam Boat Co., 1833
House No. 10 An Act to incorporate the Nantucket Steam Boat Company, 1833. Five men were incorporated as the Nantucket Steam Boat Company to run
one steam boat and two other vessels between Nantucket and New Bedford. The corporation could hold real estate to a value of $10,000 and personal
estate to 60,000. Corporate shares would be $25 each. The corporation would have the usual rights, responsibilities and organization. This bill was
considered in the Senate on January 16, 1833. (Digitized from a microfilm copy of title originally held by the Massachusetts State Library).
