SEE ALSO 52365 Senate No. 47 On March 9, 1833, the Committee sent a new draft bill: An Act in further addition to an act regulating, governing, and training of the militia of this Commonwealth, 1833. The rules for parade, forgiveness of poll tax, and the provision of blank cartridges were repealed. The companies were to be organized into regiments and battalions. Camping equipment and weapons were to come from state armories. The amount of officer pay was revised. (Digitized from a microfilm copy of title originally held by the Massachusetts State Library).

The committee to whom was referred a bill entitled "An act in further addition to an act entitled an act for regulating, governing, and training the militia of this Commonwealth," have attended to the duty assigned them, and beg leave to report the same as taken into a new draft.
