Senate No. 46 Sometime after January 18, 1833, the Committee on the Judiciary presented An Act in addition to an act to enable creditors to receive
their just demands out of the goods, effects, and credits of their debtors, when the same cannot be attached by the ordinary process of law, 1833. If
a debtor stood to receive an inheritance, creditors could compel the executor to present an accounting of the estate. If the debtor had property or
effects in another state, the creditor could compel the agent of that property to make an accounting as well. (Digitized from a microfilm copy of
