House No. 30 A Special Committee of five men sent a Resolve: to provide for a revision of the General Statutes of the Commonwealth. The Governor
was to appoint three men, "learned in the law," to revise, collate, and arrange the statutes in force by subject to be "precise, plain, and
intelligible." The group was to report imperfections it found. (Digitized from a microfilm copy of title originally held by the Massachusetts State Library).
