House No. 28 An Act to authorize and empower the County Commissioners for the counties of Middlesex and Essex to lay out the Andover and Medford
and Essex Turnpikes and establish them as county roads, 1832. Middlesex County could buy the Andover and Medford Turnpike for not more than $8,000 and
Essex County could buy the Essex Turnpike for not more than $5,000. The procedure for raising the money was included. (Digitized from a microfilm
