Senate No. 25 An Act respecting agencies of insurance companies incorporated outside of this Commonwealth, 1832. If a state levies a tax on agents
of Massachusetts insurance companies who have offices in the other state, then Massachusetts would do likewise with agents of insurance companies
incorporated outside of the Commonwealth. "Foreign" agents had to be bonded and file accounts with the Secretary of State. (Digitized from a microfilm
