House No. 56 The Committee on Education responded to a memorial from Sherman Converse asking to go to England to get copies of historical records relevant to early Massachusetts. Report: the Committee thought this was important work, but it discovered that Congress was also working on the issue. Therefore, the Committee proposed a Resolve: The Congressional delegation from Massachusetts would please bend every effort to get the federal bill passed soon.
