SEE ALSO 51717 House No. 53 The Committee on the Judiciary submitted a report on the charity fund of Edward Hopkins. There were many pages about
the history of this real estate scheme that years ago ran afoul of tax issues. There were several agreements over the years, sometimes in favor of the
tenants and sometimes not. In 1825, the Supreme Judicial Court tried to have the last word, but it didn't take. This report thought it had solved
the problem, but it was as least as complicated as all the rest of the documents. (Digitized from a microfilm copy of title originally held by the
