SEE ALSO 51718, 51719, 51764, 51765 Senate No. 19 On June 3, 1830, the Committee on the Judiciary was asked to consider if all acts of incorporation should be subject to repeal at any time. The request was sent to each chamber on June 4, 1830. An Act concerning corporations, 1831. All acts concerning corporations were liable to amendment or repeal at the pleasure of the Legislature. Title:
Ordered, that the Committee on the Judiciary be instructed to inquire into the expediency of providing by law that all acts of incorporation hereafter passed by the Legislature, shall be liable to be repealed at any time by its authority, unless such acts are limited in duration by their own respective provisions.
