SEE ALSO 51830, 51927, 23825.1831.010 Senate No. 5 The Committee on Banks and Banking sent in a report on June 4, 1830 in the form of Resolves. Resolved: The Governor should appoint three people, one of whom was not a county resident, for each county that had a bank. The group would examine any and all banks in the county and deliver a report to the Secretary of the Commonwealth as to whether the charter of each bank should be renewed. Resolved: Each bank must submit a list of stockholders and directors who owe money to the bank in a sealed report to the Secretary of the Commonwealth, who will forward the reports to the legislature by January 31, 1831.
