1828. Once goods were placed with an agent, the agent was the owner and could contract with others for the sale or delivery of those goods. It was

In Senate, Feb. 14, 1828 : the Committee on the Judiciary who were instructed to consider the expediency of altering the law in relation to merchants and factors, have had that subject under consideration, and ask leave to report a bill, which is herewith submitted.
