SEE ALSO 51800 Senate No. 13 On February 14, 1828 the Committee on the Judiciary reported out a bill: An act concerning merchants and factors, 1828. Once goods were placed with an agent, the agent was the owner and could contract with others for the sale or delivery of those goods. Commonwealth of Massachusetts. In Senate, Feb. 14, 1828 : the Committee on the Judiciary who were instructed to consider the expediency of altering the law in relation to merchants and factors, have had that subject under consideration, and ask leave to report a bill, which is herewith submitted.
