SEE ALSO 51838 H.R. No. 21 Yet again, the House had worked on the Vermont Act to improve navigation in the Connecticut River Valley. Massachusetts' amendments were reprinted with margin notes in tiny print to say which were adopted and which went back to committee. It is not clear if this was the last word. All the amendments are ill-tempered in tone. (Digitized from a microfilm copy of title originally held by the Massachusetts State Library).

Ordered, that the report of the select committee to whom was re-committed the report of a former committee on the seventh clause of the amendment proposed by Mr. Bliss, to the conditions of confirmation reported by the committee on roads and canals to the bill to confirm an act of the General Assembly of the state of Vermont for improving the navigation in the valley of Connecticut River, and to whom was also committed the eghth and thirteenth clauses, be printed, together with the former reported amendment to the seventh clause, and all the clauses and amendments adopted by the House.
