H.R. No.8 An Act to regulate the weighing of hay, straw, and other fodder, 1827. Any fodder usually sold by weight was to be weighed in net 100
pounds. The weight was to be certified in that manner. Any public weigher who did not use this method could be fined $5 for each offense. (Digitized
