SEE ALSO 51755, 51803, 51821, 51822, 51823, 51824 Senate No. 27 An Act ... for the government and regulation of the State Prison and defining the
powers and duties of the Officers of the same. The Governor was to appoint a Clerk and Commissary officer for a four year term. Orders from the
Directors to the Warden were to be in writing. The Directors were to go with the lowest bidder for supply contracts, but if all the bids were too high,
