JUNE 27, 1816 reprint as a supplement of the Boston Gazette of the report of the Joint Committee to review the votes and memorials of Maine residents
to determine if the District of Maine should be separated from Massachusetts. While favoring separation, many of those eligible did not participate;
the committee determined that certain principles needed to be agreed if said separation should occur. See LLMC #23910-11 for related documents.
