- <1765> The Massachusetts Gazette and Boston News-letter. Of note, the title of the paper was changed to the Massachusetts gazette, after the passage of the Stamp Act (from Nov. 7, 1765-May 15, 1766), and abandoned the volume numbering. After the Act was repealed, the former title and numbering were resumed. See LLMC #41318 and 41321 for related documents. (Digitized from a microfilm copy of titles originally held by the Library of Congress).
