Senate No. 5 On January 24, 1834, Governor Davis sent information about matters that might require legislative action: sale of public lands, the lunatic hospital and state prison, Marshpee Indians, resolutions from other states, a progress report on revising the state statutes, report on the state survey, the Warren Bridge tolls, and two militia generals needed to be replaced.
