17??-??-??, Case of representation for the Manor of Livingston
|
|
The case of the manor of Livingston and the conduct of the Honorable House of Assembly, towards it, considered is an undated document, although the presumed publication date was 1769 in New York. Livingston Manor was a town that under charter from the King, was allowed one representative to the Assembly in New York. This case involved whether the assembly representative was required to be from that town. (Digitized from a microfilm copy of title originally held by the New York Historical Society Library).
