Contents include preliminary and concluding remarks. Appendix A (pp. 65-119) includes excerpts and summaries of U.S. laws of Naturalization and
Expatriation; Naturalization Treaties with German States, Mexico, Belgium, concerning British Subjects and American Citizens; a Synopsis of the Laws of the
Different States Respecting the Holding of Real Estate by Aliens; Treaties relative to Transmission of Real Estate to Aliens (with Great Britain, France,
Netherlands and Sweden, Germany, twenty South American states. Appendix B contains an article by Lawrence on “The Marriage Laws of Various Countries, as
Affecting the Property of Married Women” at pp. 120-144.
