Urceolus, Florentine Rota, Selected Decisions, 1792
Decisiones inclytae Rotae Florentinae continents materias contractuum, ultimaru voluntatum, & interpretationum statutorum Josephi Urceoli patritii
foroliviensis olim ejusdem rotae auditoris, et nunc sereniss magni ducis etruriae in signature libellorum supplicum gratie, ac justitiae consiliarii,
cum duplici indice, augumentorum, et materiarum locupletissime: by Joseph Urceolus, (xix)+523+(lxxxiii) pp., Florence, Typis Joannis Philippi Cecchi,
1692. (The Rota of Florence, which was always independent of the Pontifical State, originated under the Medici in 1502 at the time when Florence was a
republic. It continued to function under both the duchy and the later city in Tuscany. A table of contents is provided in the third to the fifteenth
pages of the unnumbered leaves at the front of the book, and a subject index appears in the final 83 unnumbered leaves. To make this material more
usable online, LLMC has chosen to assign a roman numeral sequence to both of those portions; designating them as i-xix and i-lxxxiii pages. The spelling
of the second word in the title, “inclytae,” is a variant of the more correct “inclutae.”)
