1948 Amendment to the 1935 Constitution and By-Laws of the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes of the Flathead Reservation, Montana. The
amendment, which was approved by the Department of the Interior on December 22, 1948, altered Article VI, sec. 1(h) to allow up to $25,000 out of the tribal
treasury for tribal; above that amount the Secretary of the Interior would so review.
