Thesis from the Judge Advocate General's Course entitled "Rehearings Today in Military Criminal Law." Capt. H. J. Clausen, United States Army
submitted the thesis in April 1959. The paper studied the authority for rehearings in then military criminal law, including who may order, the types, the
limitations and restrictions, and the procedure to be used. The thesis also compared the rehearing with another trial ordered because of
jurisdictional defects, and a new trial granted due to fraud or because of newly discovered evidence.
