Thesis from the Judge Advocate General's Course entitled "Must the Manual for Courts-Martial, United States, 1951, Be Applied in War Crimes Trials?"
Maj. Noel J. Cipriano, JAGC, United States Army submitted the thesis in April 1954. The paper reviewed the then present status of war crime trials
by examining the use in World Wars I and II, the evidenciary rules used in such trials in World War II, as well a the Supreme Court decisions relevant
to those procedures. The thesis also suggested future methods to used with respect to the Manual of Courts-Martial.
