and Sons, 1893. (The case digests in this work are arranged, first chronologically by year, and then by the decision date therein. The cases digested
are from all jurisdictions of the Empire, as well as from the British consular courts around the world. Despite the brief period of sixteen years
covered, the work provides a good overview of the work of the Council at the height of the colonial era. Wheeler was a barrister who served in the
