1914, U.K./U.S., The Steamship Canadienne (Memorandum of the U.S. in opposition)
American and British Claims Arbitration: Claim No.16, The Canadienne, Memorandum of the oral argument of the United States in opposition to the
claim: 26p., Place of publication and publisher not identified, 1913. (The Canadienne, a Canadian Government ship, was involved in a collision with the
United States Government steamship Yantic on the St. Lawrence River. In its Memorandum of the Oral Argument the U.S. argues that the Canadienne was on
the wrong side of the channel and violated article 25 of the International Rules of the Road. The Tribunal found that both ships were at fault and each
should be obliged to pay half the loss of the other. The decision may be found in Reports of International Arbitral Awards, Volume VI, pp. 29-32.)
