English lang. The main point of this document is the Turkish contention {the British opposing} that the final Iraqi frontiers should recognize Turkish
sovereignty over the Vilayet of Mosul, in the northern area of Mesopotamia surrounding Kirkuk {43,210 Arabs, 31,000 non-Moslems, & 139,000 Turks &
Kurds.}. The matter was brought up at the post-WW I Lausanne Conference, but not resolved. The question being referred for decision to the Council of the
League of Nations, this document presents the Turkish arguments for their position, which was ultimately unsuccessful.)
