London : T. Cadell and W. Davies, 1798. (The text covered in the first series of Arabic pagination, table of contents at p. 7, is an almost clinically
dispassionate treatise on the practicalities of running a coffee plantation, including managing the “staff,” in which the typical slave is described as
an “animal rational in a middle degree.” The second series of Arabic pagination, table of contents follows p. 145, contains the constitutional, etc.,
appendix described in the title. The entire text is in English. The original of this text was filmed by the Schomburg Center for Research in Black
