pages than the 1891 original. But the main difference appears to be its lack of pp. 277-280, which, in the 1891 edition, contained an appendix with
new language for Chapter VIII and also some errata. It would appear that in the reprint these appendix materials were incorporated into the main text.
The index begins on p. 273. A table of forms starts on p.271. The entire text is in French. Dalbemar, b. 1839, was a former president of the Tribunal
de Cassation d’Haiti, and onetime Secretary of State of the Haiti Departments of Public Works and Agriculture. His magisterial Des institutions
judiciaires et de la justice de paix en Haïti, the 1887, 1897, and 1997-reprint editions of which also appear on this site.)
